**Address Lookup Guide**

Recently, our default address lookup provider was deprecated, so all Squeegee accounts now use **Google’s address lookup**. This guide will help you get the correct pin for your jobs and customers.

**1\. Entering the Address Correctly**

To get an accurate pin suggestion:

- Enter the **street number and street name.**
- Include either the **town** or the **postcode.**

⚠️ **Important:**

- If you only enter a street name or postcode, the suggestion may be inaccurate.
- You may see a red **“Possible Match”**—this is **just a text suggestion**, not a pin. Clicking it may place the pin at the wrong location.

**2\. Look for the Green Pin**

The **green pin suggestion** is what you’re looking for—it represents the accurate address match.

- Enter the address as described above (street number + name + town/postcode).
- Google will show a **green pin suggestion**—select this one.
- If the pin doesn’t appear green, it’s likely that some part of the address is missing or incorrect.

**3\. Adjusting or Confirming the Pin**

Even with the green pin, you can make adjustments:

- **Move the pin** by clicking and dragging it to the correct location.
- **Edit the address text** after clicking on a suggestion, **before confirming “Pin Here.”**
- If **no suggestions appear**, click the **blue text** to manually place the pin on the map.

Following these steps ensures your jobs and customers are **accurately mapped** every time.
